বরগুনা: বরগুনার বেতাগী উপজেলার চান্দখালিতে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় পড়ুয়া মাহমুদ হাসানকে বিয়ের দাবিতে তাদের ভাড়া বাসায় এসে অবস্থায় নেওয়া শিখা আক্তার মৌকে কারাগারের সেফহোমে পাঠানোর নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন আদালত।
শুক্রবার (১৩ মে) সকালে ওই বাড়ি থেকে তাকে গ্রেফতার করার পর দুপুরে আদালতে হাজির করা হয়।
এসময় বরগুনা সিনিয়র জুডিসিয়াল মেজিস্ট্রেট আদালতের বিচারক নাহিদ হোসেন মেয়েটিকে কারাগারের সেফহোমে পাঠানোর নির্দেশ দেন।
এর আগে, গত মঙ্গলবার (১০ মে) বরগুনার আদালতে মাহমুদুল হাসানের বাবা মোশাররফ হোসেন খান তাদের পরিবারকে অবরুদ্ধ করে বিয়ের দাবিতে অবস্থান নেওয়ার অভিযোগ করেন ওই তরুণীর বিরুদ্ধে। অভিযোগ আমলে নিয়ে ওইদিনই বেতাগী থানার ওসিকে আইনগত ব্যবস্থা নেওয়ার নির্দেশ দেন বরগুনার চিফ জুডিসিয়াল ম্যাজিস্ট্রেট আদালতের বিচারক মুহাম্মদ মাহবুব আলম। একই সঙ্গে এক সপ্তাহের মধ্যে আদালতে প্রতিবেদন দাখিলেরও নির্দেশ দেন ওই বিচারক।
গত ২৮ এপ্রিল বরগুনার বেতাগী উপজেলার চান্দখালির কাঠপট্টি এলাকায় মাহমুদ হাসানদের ভাড়া বাসায় বিয়ের দাবিতে অবস্থায় নেন জামালপুরের তরুণী শিখা আক্তার মৌ। ছেলে ও তার বাবা-মা এরপর আত্মগোপন করায় স্থানীয়রা ওই বাড়ির তালা ভেঙে একটি রুমে মেয়েটিকে ঢুকিয়ে দেন। গত বৃহস্পতিবার (৫ মে) রাতে মাহমুদুল হাসানের বাবা মোশাররফ হোসেন ওই বাসায় ফেরেন এবং ওই তরুণীকে পুত্রবধূ বানাতে তার আগের স্বামীকে তালাক দেওয়ার কাগজ ও অভিভাবকদের নিয়ে আসার শর্ত দেন। কিন্তু ওই তরুণী তালাকের কাগজ দেখাতে ব্যর্থ হন।
কারাগারের সেফহোমে পাঠানোর বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করে বাদী পক্ষের আইনজীবী সাইমুল ইসলাম রাব্বি বলেন, ওই তরুণীর স্বামী ও সন্তান রয়েছে বলে জানা গেছে।
বিয়ের দাবিতে ওই বাড়িতে অবস্থান নিয়ে একটি পরিবারকে অবরুদ্ধ করে রাখেন মৌ। তাই আদালত তার বিরুদ্ধে জাস্টিস অব দ্য পিস আইনে আইনানুগ ব্যবস্থা নিতে বেতাগী থানা পুলিশের ভারপ্রাপ্ত কর্মকর্তাকে (ওসি) নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন।
